Where do I begin? I'll just start by saying that I have completely fallen in love with Oh Wonder. Their songs calm me with their hypnotising rhythm and sweet melodies, meaning that I could listen to them again and again and again and never be bored. But their music is not the only reason I adore them, their positive attitude and evident passion makes them lovable in ways I can not describe.
If you have not heard of them before, the band consists of Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West who found themselves working together in the recording studio with a mutual friend and decided to start song writing together on a more regular basis. This resulted in their first album in which they wrote, recorded and released a new song every month beginning on 1st September 2014. Their energy, English charm and unique sound have enchanted listeners all around the world and it is clear that very soon they will be climbing to the top of the charts as in less than a week, the duo will release Ultralife, their second album.
My favourite songs include: Drive, Technicolour Beat, Without You and the Abbey Road Piano Sessions version of Ultralife. However, all their songs make me smile.
I seriously recommend that you check them out as soon as possible as I promise you that they will be the next big thing in music. Trust me.
