Let's talk about... the one and only Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is possibly my favourite IT girl ever and if you haven't heard of her, you've probably been living under a rock. She was scouted in the comedy tent at Reading Festival and began modelling at the age of 16. Alexa also frequently works as a TV Presenter, wrote a brilliant book that I love to flick through and just launched her eponymous fashion brand in May 2017. But why has she been so successful? What is it that makes her so special? Let me explain...

1) Alexa's Personality

Alexa is charming, hilarious and totally bonkers. If you don't believe me, you should know that she wrote in her book (which I would definitely recommend) that "I like dinosaurs like a nine-year-old boy likes dinosaurs". In my opinion, the fact that she has such a distinctive persona makes her so fascinating. These days, no one seems to be original. We live in a world of Kardashians, Hadids and Instagram models who never ever have anything interesting to say, all they appear to be able to do is pout and look pretty. Alexa seems to be one of the only exceptions and her personality is ridiculously addictive. Read her book and you'll quickly find yourself desperately wanting to be her whether it be because of her quintessentially British charm or hysterical anecdotes of parties, festivals and fashion week.
